Tubular packaging system for on shore and offshore operation
Falco’s frame model PGC, pipes green cradle, is mainly used for the packaging and the transport of pipes of different sizes in on-shore and off-shore operations. Of Course being the system without lifting eyelets for the lifting can be used the canvas slings or forklift.
The PGC system besides the common features that has with other Falco’s models such as:
- The PHD saddles, which can be easily removed from the steel tubulars supports, making easier to recycle both materials for environment protection
- The PHD saddles shaped in one size in such a way to cover most of the body of the pipes, keeping those firmly and stably in the system
- Very compact and strong in spite of the relative lightness
In addiction the PGC system has these own characteristics:
- Non metallic parts of the components can get in contact with the pipes this is very important mainly with the chrome pipes. In fact, the metallic components of the system is fully covered by plastic saddles and solid rubbers plugs at the extremity of each steel tubular supports
- Has already reported above each steel tubular support of the saddles has each end a shaped strong rubber plugs tightly inserted in the tubular in such a way that it is very difficult that it runs away once the system is assembled and closing threaded bars is inserted in the special groove shape in the rubber plug.
The two closing bars are threaded to their own nuts which are protected inside a solid rubber plug which is firmly inserted in the base tubular support.
